At Pacific Explorer Montessori we are focused on practicing the innovative philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori that nurtures the child’s natural love for learning. We believe intellectual and character development occurs in an enriched environment where ample opportunities are provided to explore and experience. Therefore, we are committed to help your child to satisfy his or her developmental goals.
Pacific Explorer Montessori is a newly remodeled Montessori school. It is located in a very pleasant and safe neighborhood in Torrance. We are on Eriel Avenue, off of Sepulveda Boulevard facing Laurel’s Furniture.

Our mission at Pacific Explorer Montessori is to provide each child an enriched learning environment, with the high quality Montessori apparatus that provides a purposeful learning experience for your child. Our classrooms are equipped with more than three hundred Montessori activities to foster your child's growing curiosity in learning. Pacific Explorer curriculum is made up of a wide variety of activities with hands on experience to help children acquire independence, self-actualization and personal excellence.
Our spacious class rooms are designed to provide a joyful leaning time. The campus is equipped with a spacious playground, central air conditioning and heating.

Teaching
Our staff members are academically qualified and professionally trained to guide the young children under their care. They are all background checked and certified in First Aid and CPR.
Pacific Explorer Montessori Hours of Operation
Schedule
Pacific Explorer Montessori operates Monday through Friday from 7.30 am to6.00 pm.
7.30 am - 8.30 am- Morning Extended Care
8.30 am -12.00pm - Half Day Session
8.30 am - 3.30 pm- Full Day Session
3.30 pm- 6.00 pm- Evening Extended Care Session
We are flexible in allowing you to choose full or half days of school or/and 2 days, 3days, 4days or 5 days of school for your child.
*Children over 4 years of must attend at least 4 days of school to prepare them academically and socially for public school Kindergarten.
